Limited Warranty Statement
Tistar products, sold in Australia by Titanium Star Pty Ltd and its authorised distributors, are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions within the applicable warranty period.
This warranty operates in conjunction with, and does not limit, exclude, or modify, the statutory consumer guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1.Warranty Period
The applicable warranty periods are as follows:
- Lithium Battery Products: 5 Years
- Inverter Products: 1 Year
- AC to DC Charger Products: 2 Years
- DC to DC Charger Products: 1 Year
- Solar Panels: 1 Year
The warranty period commences from the date of purchase as indicated on the invoice and will not be extended or reset by any repair or replacement.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
2.Warranty Coverage
At its sole discretion, Tistar will:
- Repair the defective product free of charge;
- Replace it with a new product of the same model or equivalent functionality;
- Offer a partial or full refund of the original purchase price (applicable only in the case of major failures).
Ownership of any replaced product or component shall revert to Tistar.
Replacement products may be new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent units.
Tistar’s liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the original purchase price.
3.Exclusions
Warranty is void under the following conditions:
3.1 Installation / Use
- Failure to install in accordance with Tistar instructions or relevant AS/NZS standards;
- Use of the product for unintended purposes (e.g. as a starter battery);
- Use with non-approved chargers or incompatible charge profiles;
- Mechanical damage (abrasion, wear and tear, impact, transport damage, water ingress, etc.);
- Exposure to extreme temperatures or prolonged storage without use.
3.2 Battery System Issues
- Damage due to reverse polarity, overcharging/discharging, or short circuits;
- Inadequate system configuration, such as undersized cables or unsuitable voltage/current;
- Use in parallel/series configurations with batteries of other brands.
3.3 Environmental Factors
- Natural disasters or external events (lightning, flooding, fire, insect/animal intrusion, etc.);
- Environmental degradation such as corrosion, chemical exposure, or submersion.
3.4 Operational / Maintenance Issues
- Failure to perform the initial charge or regular maintenance per user manual;
- Use without necessary protective accessories or delayed charging after disconnection;
- Unauthorised disassembly, modification, or repairs.
3.5 Application Restrictions
- Use in commercial fleets, rental operations, mining, or medical backup systems unless otherwise agreed in writing;
- Failure to recharge the battery within 14 days after BMS low-voltage disconnect;
- Warranty does not apply to resold or transferred products without authorised consent.
4.How to Make a Warranty Claim
The original purchaser must:

② Provide the following information:
- Proof of purchase (invoice);
- Battery serial number;
- Description of the fault and operating environment (Bluetooth screenshots optional);
- Details of installation, system configuration, charger settings, etc.
Tistar will assess the claim and determine whether the product meets the warranty criteria.
If approved, Tistar will proceed with replacement, repair, or refund.
If no fault is found or the product is deemed out of warranty, inspection and return shipping fees (e.g., $100 + GST) may apply.
5. Technical Support & Limitations of Liability
- Tistar provides ongoing technical support for post-sale inquiries.
- Tistar is not liable for costs incurred by third-party testing, alterations, or transport without prior written consent.
- This warranty excludes any liability for indirect losses, including but not limited to rental loss, labour, downtime, or loss of profits.
6. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
- Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
- You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the product repaired or replaced.

8. Important Notes
- Ensure all batteries are voltage-matched before connecting in parallel;
- Use only chargers specifically designed for LiFePO₄ chemistry, with appropriate voltage settings;
- Installation must be performed by qualified personnel in compliance with Australian electrical standards;
- All terminal connections should be tightened using a torque wrench to prevent overheating.
